“What’s it all about anyway?”

While not a very productive question to ask in most circumstances, probably a fair one when it comes to this blog (which is a word I don’t particularly enjoy). So what is it all about anyway? Well, I suppose it’s about a little bit of everything. Or perhaps it’s actually about nothing at all. It’s all a matter of perspective.

There’s too much in this world that is beautiful, horrifying, interesting, bizarre, hilarious, heartbreaking, infuriating, and just plain remarkable for me to only discuss and explore any one topic. Instead, what I post here is that which I come across that I think warrants attention, comments, investigation, and occasionally even some reviews. I react to what moves me in some way, be it something from my home-base of Southern California or something coming from elsewhere in our world. Perhaps some of those some of those things will end up moving you as well.

I’m not quite vain enough (yet) to believe that my words are anything more than a teardrop into an already enormous ocean. They might not even be that. If by some miracle you’ve stumbled your way here and have enjoyed what you found, then great. Welcome, I’m glad to have you, please excuse the spelling. If you’re only stopping by briefly before moving on and forgetting about HItV entirely, that’s okay too. In that case these words will just be but brief flashes of light on your landscape, existing only momentarily before being sucked out into the dark vacuum that is our world. You will be finding me on the precipice of oblivion, alonw and shouting at the top of my lungs like a madman, regardless. Thus the title of this blog.
